  5. Queue comments about real Leica cams, how special eds are awful, and how leica doesn’t care about photographers but only about fashion… And go.

  6. It`s bloody false, producing toys for milioners, while as normal customer while having sent my old functioning M3 with brolen bayonet lock to Wetzlar for evaluation, I got the estimate 1000 dollar for overhaul, payed 100€ for the pleasure of hearing it and they didn`t even return camera with a one little screw of bayonet lock as a gift.

  11. Leica have lost the will to be a player in the camera business, it seems. Here we have toys that will obviously never see the light of day for collectors of nice things.

I don’t have a problem with that in isolation, but the for the company that designed the awful M9 hand grip to attempt to play a design role is just so ridiculous to be unbelievable.

One of the biggest issues for Leica’s M9 customers is the difficulty in focussing the new range of high speed lenses. What’s needed is a higher magnification viewer, a 0.85x, or even the 0.92x of the M3. That’s something that would really help some customers who actually use the camera. It’s been important for the last 50 years, why no longer ?

Similarly, silver chrome cameras have been staple food for the Leica customers since the 1950’s, but not with the M9. Why not ? Why will we need to buy the Sapphire M9 to get a silver one ? Who cares at Leica Boudoir any more.

But please, please give us a high mag viewer.

  14. The special edition Leicas fitted with Noctilux will make sense, only if they`ll have 1:1 life-size M3 viewfinder.

  15. i dont get it , why this people is very cynical about pricing or luxury …

its a same standard machine / chip , between limited edition and normal edition …

well if somebody wanted to spend more money in limited edition by all mean buy it ,
if u cannot afford it , and secretly want it , don’t bitch … instead spend more time making money ..

we hope that leica company survive for a long2 time, well salary and researcher doesn’t come cheap …

1 limited edition m9 titanium : 25.000 usd compare to normal m9 7000usd, well that
    1 limited = 3.5 normal camera

    500 limited edition = 1750 normal camera
( lots of money for improvement )

well don’t bitch about this that , or how about faster machine or bla bla bla
when u still using very old leica body or lens and not planning to buy / contribute ….
which sane company will spend lots of money improving old machine .. ( m3 )

well most of u guy are professional photographer , which is better :
poor guy wedding paycheck or millioner wedding paycheck, kachingggg ( $$$$ )
vogue or people magazine photo shoot
    playboy or hustler photo shoot
    porsche or hyundai photo shoot

well leica also like the rich dude …

money doesn’t lie … better equipment better result … providing same skill
